Mexican Angel

In 2012, I exhibited nearly thirty selected works at Galerie Bex in Montparnasse, Paris. During the opening of this show, I was approached by the design director of the handbag and accessories company Longchamps, Paris. She asked if I would be interested in creating a painting to be reproduced on silk scarves. The painting that interested her was “Mexican Angel - with a Bouquet of Jealousy”. I created a version of this painting “Mexican Angel” in acrylic on a 90cm x 90cm canvas, the actual size of the silk scarves. The painting was delivered to Milan, Italy, to be digitally reproduced for a silkscreening process. 500 scarves were created and all were sold world wide. I retained the painting and all rights for reproduction.
