This section is dedicated to the history of my work. Exhibitions, selected inspirations and works in various stages.
The early eighties
In 1982 during my senior year at the Center for Creative Studies, I was awarded a residency at the New York Studio School in Greenwich Village. At this point in my work I had already move on from academic and traditional techniques. I was more excited about what the city of New York might bring to my work than I was about the teachings at the school.
In 1983 I moved back to Detroit to graduate from the Center for Creative Studies.
In 1975, when I was fifeteen years old, a friend gifted me a book on Salvadore Dali. It was a changing point in my life as a young artist.
